The master’s degree in Islamic Finance and Audit in Guinea (FIAG) is offered to employees working in conventional and Islamic banks, and to state administrators. It is also aimed at employees of public and private companies who are considering retraining.
In the Republic of Guinea, there is a multitude of training courses in Finance and Audit in schools and university institutions, but provision in Islamic finance is rare or even non-existent.
Al-Eamar University is even more legitimate and qualified, having already trained students in Islamic study since 2006, so it is offering a master’s degree in Islamic Finance and Auditing to fill this void.

This master’s degree aims to train executives in the technical, legal and financial fields of Audit and Islamic finance and the conventional and Islamic Economy, considered as an essential dimension of economic development.

Graduates of a master’s degree in Islamic Finance provide practical and theoretical skills to work in different sectors: Financial institutions, credit institutions, asset management, retail banks, corporate and investment banks, private banks, investment companies insurance, brokerage firms, audit firms, management companies, investment firms, audit firms, venture capital companies.
The positions occupied are those found in conventional banks. But these positions reflect the principles and values of Islamic Finance and Sharia. Concretely, a graduate in Islamic Finance can be a Banking Consultant in Islamic finance, an Auditor in major Islamic financial institutions and an Islamic Banking and Insurance product manager.
Admissions conditions
The master 2 is aimed at candidates with degrees from Guinean or foreign universities and/or schools, holders of an M1 or qualification recognized as equivalent to Bac+4. The preferred areas are economics and management, Islamic law study, sociology, and politics. Professionals with significant experience in the field of economics, banking and insurance will be qualified, and holders of a Bac+2 degree in economics, management and Islamic study are eligible for the programs.
Applications for continuing education (paid by the employer) are welcome.
The Master1 is aimed at candidates with degrees from universities and/or schools, Guineans or foreigners, holders of a Bachelor’s degree or a title recognized as equivalent to Bac+3. Professionals holding a Bac+2 degree in economics, management and Islamic study and with 3 years of professional experience in the field of banking, Islamic Finance and Insurance are eligible for the programs.
Duration of studies
The courses will be subject to semesterization. Concretely, the first and second session courses and exams end during the defined semesters.
